Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis is scary and often times you might not know where to turn. Since our inception in 1995, BCRC has served as a comprehensive support system in Central Texas for those with breast cancer.

Our vast network of BCRC clients are surrounded with support from our trained patient navigators as well as peer-to-peer support groups and online forums.

It is our priority to guide our clients through breast cancer with our individualized patient navigation services as we strive to educate each of them to make informed decisions regarding their medical care.

Patient Navigation

BCRC’s customized patient navigation services help clients replace fear, anxiety, and doubt with information, options, and hope.

Our certified Patient Navigators are breast cancer survivors themselves, and strive to empower those touched by breast cancer in their healthcare decisions. We understand the process, and are here to address your concerns, either by phone, in person, or by electronic communication.

Community Education And Outreach program

BCRC is not only committed to educating our clients, but we also understand the importance of educating our community. We provide opportunities for physicians, healthcare professionals, and other community stakeholders to learn about topics that impact our clients from subject matter experts using evidence-based research.

Additionally, we partner with universities to conduct research and expand our reach to educate key stakeholders on the needs of our clients.

Karing for Every Young Survivor

The KEYS project was launched as a result of a cooperative agreement between BCRC and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Young survivors and metastatic clients have their own unique needs from diagnosis, through treatment, into survivorship. Our goal to support these client populations and meet their unique needs by improving support and resources over the course of our 5-year cooperative agreement with the CDC.
