What inspired you to volunteer as a board member?
I’m thrilled to have taken on a new role as Chair for the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) in 2024, after a journey of passionate involvement since 2010.
At the core of my commitment to BCRC lies a deep love for its mission: ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone. My journey with BCRC began with my first ArtBra creation in 2010, igniting a lasting passion. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the creative lead for ArtBra, where I’ve been inspired by the incredible creations modeled by breast cancer clients.
Joining the board of directors two years ago marked a pivotal moment in my journey with BCRC, and I’m deeply honored to now serve as Chair. I’m eager to witness the growth and direction that BCRC will take this year as we continue to uphold our mission.
Outside of my dedicated volunteer work with BCRC, I’m also a seasoned Technical Recruiter in the video games industry, leveraging three decades of experience to connect individuals with opportunities that enhance their lives.
When I’m not volunteering or immersed in my professional endeavors, you can find me cherishing moments with my beloved family or at the barn taking horseback lessons!
I’m truly excited for the journey ahead and the positive impact we will continue to make at BCRC. Together, let’s ensure that no one ever walks the path of breast cancer alone.

What inspired you to volunteer as a board member?
My inspiration and desire to volunteer as a member of the BCRC board is driven by my desire to serve the many women who have battled and will continue to battle breast cancer. My niece was diagnosed with an exceedingly rare form of metastatic, triple negative breast cancer in 2020. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with breast cancer in 2023 just three months shy of her opportunity to model in the Art Bra Gala. The love and support she received from BCRC inspired me to get involved.
