After Breast Cancer Course

The end of treatment often brings a variety of emotions and challenges. For most, the overarching question is, “What happens now?” Some women return to the lives they were leading before their diagnosis, while the lives of others are significantly changed by their cancer experience.

We hope our 6-week course, After Breast Cancer, helps you adjust to your “new normal” by guiding you through a variety of important issues and helping you understand how to cope with the long-term side effects of your cancer treatment. You’ll hear cancer care professionals present on topics like emotional health, lymphedema, exercise, and nutrition. We’ll also help you develop your own follow up care plan.

The course has been designed to provide you with the information, tools and resources to help you address your specific concerns and achieve wellness after breast cancer treatment.
After Breast Cancer is facilitated by BCRC’s Education Specialist. We request that a commitment be made to attend most meetings during this course. This program is open to those who have completed primary treatment of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation within the last three years.
